Hourfair is operated by:

The postal address is given on request — email the address above and it will be sent to you. It is also held by Paddle, who verify every seller before they will act for them.

Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, trading as Paddle, who act as the merchant of record. Paddle is the seller for the transaction: they appear on your statement, they collect and remit any VAT, GST or sales tax due where you are, and their buyer terms govern the purchase itself.

• A 14-day trial, with a payment method taken up front. You are not charged during the trial.
• USD 9 per month, or USD 79 per year, charged for the first time on the day the trial ends and then automatically each period until you cancel.
• Tax is added at checkout where it applies in your country, and shown before you confirm.
• Prices can change, but never for a period you have already paid for. We will email you at least 30 days before any increase takes effect, and you can cancel in that time.

One button on your billing page, at any time, with no email to send and nobody to ask. Cancelling during the trial means you are never charged at all.

After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Then the account locks — it is not deleted. See below.

Refunds are handled by Paddle under their buyer terms, since they are the seller of record. Ask us at support@hourfair.com or ask Paddle directly, and we will not stand in the way of a reasonable request.

The 14-day trial exists so that you can find out whether this works for you without paying anything. That is the honest reason there is no separate money-back promise on top of it.

You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for a digital service. By starting your trial and using Hourfair straight away, you are asking for the service to begin immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it has been fully performed.

In practice this is close to academic here: the trial is free, cancelling is one click, and no charge happens until day fifteen. Your statutory rights are not affected by anything on this page.

• Nothing is deleted when your subscription ends. Your hours and invoices stay exactly where they are.
• You can still export all of it, as CSV, while the account is locked. A record of work you did is not leverage to use against you.
• Tracked hours are deleted after twelve months of an inactive subscription. We email you first and you have at least thirty days to download them or resubscribe.
• Invoices are kept, because they are financial records you may need for tax years afterwards.

Hourfair records activity in your browser. It does not track work in desktop applications, and it cannot know about work done away from a computer.

The hours are yours to check. The timesheet is the raw record and every figure on an invoice is traceable to it. We take reasonable care that the arithmetic is right — but you are the one sending the invoice, and you are responsible for what is on it. Review it before you send it.

Hourfair does not give tax, accounting or legal advice, and an invoice it produces is not a guarantee of compliance with the rules where you or your client are.

One person per account. Do not use Hourfair to monitor another person — it is not built for that and doing so may be unlawful where you are. Do not attempt to reach another account’s data.

We may suspend an account that is being used to break the law or to harm somebody. Where we can give notice first, we will.

This is a small product run by one person. It is offered as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The extension keeps your hours on your own machine when the server cannot be reached, and sends them when it can.

To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you have paid in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

If these terms change in a way that matters to you, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Hourfair afterwards means accepting the new version.

These terms are governed by the law of Indonesia. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings there.
